When I had my "Little Prince" (Finn), and became involved in the birth world, I realized that I found a calling! Â Working with families through their pregnancies, and helping them embrace the new phase of life after birth, brings me much joy and satisfaction! I serve the northern NJ area and often work with the LGBTQ+ community.
Birth doula offering her services to expecting families of NYC, Central and North NJ. After encountering the harsh realities of her own birth experiences Shanylle delved into the birth world in hopes to create a loving, peaceful and comforting space for expectant families. Her purpose comes from a deep compassion and holistic traditions passed down through generations.
Nerlande belief is primarily to help navigative mothers and families to birth in Shalom. While Shalom (peace) may look different for every mother and family. Her approach will exercise the voices of the mother and family, empower and educate key information that will give knowledge and understanding in areas of the most beautiful journey a women and family can experience, that is BIRTHING.
Sisterly Doula offers childbirth support services in Southern New Jersey/Philadelphia, owned and operated by two sisters who are committed to the work of helping families through their desired birth and postpartum journey. We're immersed in educational training to continue the development of professionalized service, and we have over 23 years of combined experience and wisdom to share. Our passion is to help facilitate, support, and guide parents in having the safest, and most desirable birthing experience possible.

We provide comprehensive, personalized care to families who wish to have a home
birth experience and holistic gynecology. Our services include prenatal care, including
all appropriate labs, tests, and ultrasounds. Assistance throughout active labor and
birth at home, newborn care, and postpartum follow-up visits. We also offer supportive
care with infertility.
Michelle is a Bradley Method instructor as well as a Certified Labor Doula, Evidence Based Birth Instructor and National Black Doula Association Doula Trainer & Mentor. In her spare time she loves supporting The Birth Center of NJ as their Doula Coordinator and Childbirth Instructor.
